Which classic rock band do you wish you could have seen live?

Obviously, my two favourite bands in the whole universe, The Beatles and the Sex Pistols. But if I did have to pick ONE only, I’d pick the Sex Pistols. Mainly because if I saw The Beatles, I wouldn’t hear anything because of the girls (I’d probably be one of them haha) and I like the older Beatles (after 1966) better than the younger Beatles (though AHDN is my favourite album).

Also, the Pistols made some great shows, of what I’ve seen and heard they we’re very good on stage. Of course they’re a bit lame now, they should’ve stopped when Sid died. So I’d rather see the 1978 Pistols live, not 2011 Pistols. I would still love to see the Pistols with both Glen and Sid.

Who is your favorite classic rock band and why?

I got two:

1. The Beatles.

I started to listen to them in 2009, after I had a music class about The Beatles. My teacher played some songs and then I just got hooked. I love them because their music is different and amazing and they make me happy, Lennon/McCartney ftw. <3

2. the Sex Pistols.

I started to listen to them in late 2008, after my best friend Vicious showed me a clip of Anarchy In The UK, I think. I didn’t really like them at all at first but then she kept giving me links to their songs and I started to like them, really, really much. Now they’re one of my favourite bands, and they even tie with The Beatles, haha. I love them because of the music, the lyrics, the image and just the pure atmosphere. <3
